No website is an island. I've been inspired by many other creators on my journey into Role Playing Games in general and Solo Roleplaying Games in particular. This page will link to a few of them, and the list will grow over time.

Wayfarer Stories blog
One of my favourite Ironsworn blog series and I think, more than any other, the one that motivated me to actually sit down and create my own blog. The story of Branwhyn had me hooked and I enjoyed the balance of story to mechanics discussion. For me, this is a perfect example of what I'm looking for in an Ironsworn write-up and I found it very helpful when learning the game.

Rene Plays Games
Rene (pronounced Rainy) focuses on solo role play and publishes actual plays, interviews with creators and authors, and advice for your TTRPG hobby. One of the things I enjoy about Rene's work is that he makes a point of playing smaller, less well-known systems alongside the solo role play stalwarts. Somewhere out there is a system for everyone, and this podcast helps give some of those smaller creators some valuable airtime.

The Bad Spot
Widely regarded in Ironsworn circles as 'the master of failing forward', Matt's youtube channel started as a Starforged campaign with occasional guest appearances from Ironsworn, but has evolved into more of a general-purpose TTRPG actual-play channel focused on games he loves. Solo content still features, but it comes in waves. I tune in and out of this depending on whether he's playing something that interests me, but definitely worth having on your subscription list.

Me, Myself and Die
If I were to sum Trevor's channel up into a pithy one-line description I would say that he's trying to to for solo role play what Critical Role has done for Role Playing Games in general. He's a voice actor and TTRPG enthusiast who runs Actual Play seasons interspersed with reviews, deep-dives, interviews and material that promotes and gives a behind-the-scenes view of his own RPG Broken Empires. A particualr highlights for me is his season two series where he plays through Ironsworn and which is an easy recommendation for someone who wants to understand and get a feel for the flow of the game. But Trevor is a likeable and enthusiastic host and his channel is generally a joy to watch. And of course he does great voices.
